Really this book is a complete waste of time. In a scant 65 pages entire sections are repeated, never is anything approaching practical advice given (you should have a business plan - no information), do not plant too close together - how far apart, do not under water, do not over water, but never how much. It reminded me of the SNL skit - you can't look at the sun too much. Hey, how about at least a reference to other materials.

I've never written a review before, but this book was so bad I just had to warn anyone who might be interested to avoid this disappointing excuse for a book. It seems to have been written by a computer or someone new to the English language. For example, on page 58, "Even though this particular tree does not carry any leaves in the wintertime, the structure remains a fresh addition to the environment." Apparently no one told the author that maple trees are deciduous!
There are several excellent books about Japanese maples for sale at amazon. This is not one of them.

It is very apparent that this book was written by someone who learned English as a second language. The book is poorly written with numerous grammar problems.

It appears that someone simply "Googled" Japanese Maple and did a poor job "cutting and pasting" information into this book. I now understand why there is no author's name. This book should be banned by Amazon.
